Introduction
Join our social club and you can meet new people with shared interests, let your hair down at our entertainment events and participate in our leisure activities including snooker, pool, darts, dominoes, card games, and quiz nights.
These games are not only entertaining but also foster friendly competition and camaraderie. Regular entertainment such as live music or themed evenings provides something to look forward to and keeps the club’s atmosphere lively and engaging.

One of the perks of joining our social club is access to value for money drinks in a relaxed environment. We have our own bar, offering drinks at prices lower than most public venues. You will be made welcome in the club where you can gather with friends, celebrate, or wind down after a busy day, without straining your budget. Also don’t miss our Happy Hour and Drink of the Week.
Excitement of the Lottery and Fruit Machine
Your lucky Night on the Lotto or fruit Machine
You can participate in our Lucky 4 Lotto adding an exciting element of chance to your regular visits. The games will bring members together for a bit of light-hearted fun, with the thrill of possibly winning a prize making each gathering even more enjoyable. The Club also has a fruit machine where you can play for the thrill of the lights, sounds, and anticipation of a win – good luck!

External Sports and Activities
Near the Jack?
As a member of London House Social Club you will gain access to our Crown Bowling Green situated in Meeting Lane. Take part in friendly competition with other members and benefit from a perfect balance of relaxation and challenge. Alternatively you may choose to join our rambling group to improve your outdoor activity. If fishing is your interest then join our Fishing club. The Club is a friendly and just for fun group that welcomes people of all ages, male or female. You will always be welcome to join us for some time on the river bank.

The jukebox adds a lively and interactive element to the club atmosphere, allowing you to choose your favourite songs and shape the mood of the room. Start a conversation and chat about the music you chose sparking responses such as — “Oh, I love this song!” or “Haven’t heard this in ages!”.

Watch Football on ALHC Television
When you watch a football match in the club it provides an “electric” atmosphere that can be the closest experience to actually being at the stadium.
The energy in the club is immersive with the roar of a crowd during a goal or the collective groan at a missed penalty creating a “personal footballing cauldron” that cannot be replicated at home.
You may find that watching sport together helps build friendships, mitigates loneliness, and triggers “reward centres” in the brain that indicate feelings of happiness.

Please Note
1) The Club will open on bank holiday Mondays at midday. Please keep an eye on our socials pages and the Homepage here for other specific hours / events.
2) The actual closing time may be adjusted (brought forward) on the day if warranted, at the reasonable discretion of the Staff Member in charge. But don't worry if you are in the Club, we won't be kicking you out before time... unless you are really naughty.!! If in doubt or planning to arrive later in the evening, please call ahead (01789 762458) to avoid disappointment.
